This is an on-call, unpaid volunteer position. Volunteers must be out-going, friendly, comfortable approaching strangers and able to stand for three hours. Specific duties include: HLA typing by serology and molecular methods; crossmatch donors and recipients for organ and tissue transplantation; screen serum for lymphocyte antibodies; perform on-call responsibilities for cadaver specimen workups; perform engraftment monitoring testing by STR, VNTR or FISH, draw blood samples; maintain a diverse egg donor database including Jewish egg donors, Asian egg donors, and a variety of backgrounds and ethnicities. You must be able to read and speak English very well and without accent. You must have simple math skills (add, subtract, multiply and divide). You must have the right to live and work in the United States. You should be female as my mother needs assistance with personal hygiene. You should be Christian (in order to read Scripture in a meaningful way). Come join Napa's premier hot air balloon company!!
